I just love this part of the decoration, the window treatment tie the room together, if you don't get it right, it sure can be a disaster...a window treatment can make the room up or down.
If you have a low celing here is a tip: hang the curtains all the way up to make the room feel taller. You can do the same way if your room is dark.
If you want some glamour pick silk fabrics, if you need more light get some sheers, if want cozy and warm go with dark. You have plenty of choices out there.
But remember....if you don't konw how to do, get some neutral colors, it always works.!
