Vintage wedding style

May is considered a wedding month in my country..so based on that tradition even tho I live here, I'll be posting  once a week at least of some wedding dresses, cakes, centerpieces for guest´s table, color palette and so much more.

My first post is about an amazing and gorgeous way to bring together old and new ideas in the same place!

Vintage is so In now, and this post is going to help all vintage lovers to do a perfect and unforgettable wedding!

When i think about vintage it reminds me of my Gradma's house, some things that she still have in her house I wish they were mine. Remember, the VINTAGE and OLD have the same meaning, but the concept is all new.

People are recreating vintage mixing other styles to it, vintage can be classic and chic but if you exaggerate it might look outdated and not that great to see.

Baby Shower

Doing a Baby shower nowadays is so much fun then in my time.!!
You can personalize everything!!
Bottles of water, candies, litlle shoes...GOD there are so many itens that you can find to make this time even more special...being a mother!

We dream about every detail....!!

It´s not easy to keep a teenager happy right?!!...I have one!!

They are not big enough..and not that little anymore!!

They are stuck in the middle!!

They want at all...but have no idea of what and how to do it!!!

Doing a Kid´s room is fun and you can use a lot of your imagination!
There´s a lot that we can do to make their room cozy, fun and functional.
Don't forget to involve them in the project , listen to what they need and like.
You can be surprised of how creative they can be!!
I spent less than  $ 300.00 doing each room.

Romantic and Modern!


Lamp shade ..hand made....get some flowers , ribbons and make a simple shade
into  a colorful , pretty and unique shade..
Bedding set double side and orange pillows from target.
Orange rug from walmart, shelves from home goods



The Headboard i did  uphostery ... just got a pice of plywood and an old bed cover  the result was pretty good
bedding set from bed bath and beyond, lamp shade from target.
I had this white cabinet that i used to have in my garege just got two mirrors from walmart and stick using a
double wood tape. White chair from Ikea.

Diva's room is good for a teenagers!                                                                                                                                                                                            

Headboard  i got a 3 old pictures and wrap with a old zebra window painel, shelves from home goods, the flowers wall stickers from Ikea, the vallance i just grab a boas from a friend party, the silver letters on the wall from Marshalls.

Don´t forget, On The Budget as always!!!

Laundry

Most of us are not fans of our laundry rooms, they not only represent an area that’s reserved for work and stinking socks, but they are far from being the best designed space in our home. We are usually quite comfortable with just closing the door and keeping everyone from discovering the “mess”.

Who says your Laundry Room can’t have a designer’s touch?

 A laundry room doesn’t have to be that dull, boring place you don’t need to be afraid of it. It needs to be comfortable, cool and pleasant and at the same time, highly functional.

How pretty they make the room....bring color, fun , they show your sense of style and personality.
They can be fun, elegant, classic, fancy...!!
To conbine patterns you NEED to have in mind this tip : differents patterns.
It has to have at least two colors alike, to be in harmony.
