Dining trasformation

My last work  was a challenge, the owner did want to keep her dining set, and ask for a contemporary room.
This dining room was a little busy and did have no space at all.
The furniture is too big for the room, and dinining set is classic style. Let's see how I did.

this room was so out date . The lights was so 70's , and too withe!

We change the chandelier, and spray paint on the mirror. The frame  was too dark and heavy for the new look. Gray tones give a contemporary feeling.

For this transformation we spend $23,00 on paint. Chandelier from Amazon cost $140,00, Glass Vase from Home Goods all tree cost $50,00. Hydrangea from Mitchael's was $ 24,00. Labor $100,00. Total cost $337,00.

Simple and elegant room for less than $400,00.

I love flowers!!

Flowers bring  life, energy and make your house cozy and pretty.
We have two choices, go with natural flowers or artificial.

Natural Flowers

We have to think about the season, It is less expensive flowers of the season.
Strong-smelling flowers are not  welcoming into your bedroom, it can cause headache and some kind of allergies.
The flowers will last longer if you cut the stems and change water every three days.

Artificial flowers.

Is important looking for the one that does not look to fake, stay away from those that it looks like plastic and velvet they are cheap and make the room go down.

Grand opening!

Last week On The Budget  was part of a big event , The International Hair Salon is open.

The Grand Opening was a success.

We did the decor, and the set up for appetizers table.

A lots of cheese, and delicious entrees.

I so glad to be part of this moment, and everything was made it right On The Budget.

 

We decide to use a yellow flowers,they look fresh and brings energy, silver glass to add some

 rich touch.

Cheese, Ham, grapes,strawberries, and green olives make this table colorful and delicious.

Before and After

I'm so glad!!

We did another transformation using a small budget.
I did used a lots of pieces that my clients had  at home.
Old frames, .mirror , switch furniture around, that is the key to not spend too much.
Let's see how looks before and after.
Living space looks good and welcoming.

When you first come in the house a wall from a family room was so empty and the other wall seems too tight , because the furniture is high this room did not have a enough lights, and the space was not feeling right. We decided to switch them to have more light and make balance in this room, now it is looking pretty and cozy.

     The shelf was too cluttered and had too many portraits.We decided to organize the books and add some colorful items.

 We keep all the furniture, the rug and change some pillows and add yellow, turquoise blue as accent colors. Lamp shade from Home Goods, pillows from target and Pier one imports.

This console table was in the dining room before we move it from there to make more space around the table. This console table was higher than the sofa we just cut a little be to make in same level.

Banquet Table

I really love a banquet table style for a wedding!

Usually people use a round table for 8 or 10, but a long banquet table is so elegant and chic.
People stays close to each other.
If the reception room is narrow this style is very good solution.
You can use high or low center pieces  or mixing both,and candles is a very good choice too.
Is different and dramatic. I'm a big fan of that style.
